This Privacy Policy explains what personal information is collected through 420formulator.com, why it may be used and what rights you have in relation to it.

I have deliberately kept the collection of personal information to a minimum. The website does not operate a mailing list, create customer profiles or use personal information for direct marketing.

Information Collected When You Contact Me

When you use the Contact form, I receive the information you choose to provide, which will normally include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your message

This information is used only to read, manage and respond to your enquiry.

It will not be added to a mailing list, used for advertising or sold to another organisation.

Please do not include confidential medical information, passwords, payment information or other sensitive personal details in your message. If sensitive information is sent unnecessarily, I may delete it without retaining or using it.

The usual legal basis for handling Contact form messages is my legitimate interest in receiving and responding to genuine enquiries about 420formulator.

Information may also be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

I do not rely upon your submission of the Contact form as permission to send marketing messages.

Contact Form Delivery and Storage

The Contact form is provided through WPForms and is configured to deliver submissions to my email address.

Remote WPForms Lite Connect entry backups are switched off. The form is not connected to a newsletter, customer database or marketing service.

Copies of messages may exist temporarily within the email, hosting or technical systems needed to deliver and secure them. These systems may record technical information about the delivery of a message.

Contact messages are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer and manage the enquiry. They may be retained for longer where necessary to comply with the law, keep an appropriate business record or deal with a dispute or legal claim.

Website Hosting, Security and Technical Records

Like most websites, the server hosting 420formulator may automatically create technical records when a page is requested. These can include:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser and device information
  • Requested page or file
  • Date and time of the request
  • Referring page
  • Error and security information

These records are used for website operation, fault investigation, security, abuse prevention and protection against malicious activity. They are not used by me to build marketing profiles of individual readers.

The lawful basis for this processing is my legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, reliable and functioning website.

The hosting provider and a trusted technical administrator may have technical access to website systems where this is necessary for hosting, maintenance, security or resolving a fault. They are not authorised to use visitors’ information for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies

420formulator does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising cookies or cookies intended to create behavioural profiles of readers.

The website may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar storage for functions such as:

  • Website security
  • Server and cache operation
  • Maintaining authorised WordPress administrator sessions

These functions help the website operate securely and are not used to follow readers around the internet.

If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies are introduced in the future, this policy and the website’s cookie controls will need to be updated before those cookies are used.

You can also delete or restrict cookies through your browser settings. Restricting necessary cookies may affect some website functions.

Analytics and Advertising

Google Analytics is not currently active on 420formulator.

The website does not currently use personal information to provide targeted or personalised advertising.

I do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

420formulator contains links to third-party websites, including ingredient suppliers, Amazon, Geniuslink, YouTube, Spotify, Pinterest and other external resources.

An ordinary external link does not give me access to information held in your account with that service. When you click the link, however, the destination website may receive technical information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser details and the page from which you arrived. It may also use its own cookies and tracking technologies.

Some external links are affiliate links. I may receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you. Further information appears in the Disclosure Policy.

Third-party websites operate under their own privacy policies and controls. I am not responsible for how an external website collects or uses information after you leave 420formulator.

Embedded and Linked Media

Some articles contain audio hosted on 420formulator and links to versions published on services such as YouTube and Spotify.

If external media is embedded directly into a page in the future, the provider may receive technical information when that media loads or when you interact with it. Where consent is legally required, the media should not load until the appropriate choice has been made.

Sharing Personal Information

I do not rent or sell personal information.

Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary:

  • To hosting, email or technical service providers that help operate and secure the website
  • To investigate malicious activity or protect the website and its users
  • To comply with a lawful request, court order or legal obligation
  • To establish, exercise or defend legal rights
  • To protect someone where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm

Only the information reasonably required for the particular purpose should be disclosed.

International Processing

Some providers linked from 420formulator, including social-media, video, audio, affiliate and retail services, may operate outside Spain or the European Economic Area.

When you leave 420formulator and use one of these external services, any international processing is governed by that provider’s privacy information and the laws and safeguards applying to it.

Website hosting, email or technical providers may also use infrastructure in different countries. Where data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the appropriate lawful transfer mechanism must be used.

Information Security

Reasonable technical and organisational precautions are used to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.

No internet transmission, email system or website can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending confidential or highly sensitive information through the Contact form.

Your Data-Protection Rights

Depending upon the circumstances and the law that applies, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether I hold personal information about you
  • Request access to that information
  • Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected
  • Request deletion of information
  • Request restriction of its use
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Request data portability where that right applies
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based upon consent

These rights are not absolute in every situation. For example, information may sometimes need to be retained to comply with a legal obligation or deal with a legal claim.

To make a privacy request, use the Contact page. I may need enough information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant records.

If you are in Spain or another European Union country, you also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

Readers in other countries may have additional rights under the privacy law that applies where they live.

Children’s Privacy

420formulator is intended for an adult audience and is not directed towards children.

I do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing or profiling. A parent or guardian who believes that a child has submitted personal information through the website can contact me and request its deletion.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy when the website, its services or the applicable requirements change.

The date at the top of the page will be changed whenever a material revision is made. A new version applies from the date it is published and does not turn an earlier unlawful use of information into a lawful one.

This replacement removes the old and inaccurate claims about subscriber emails, advertisements, public statistics, publishing enquiries and Akismet comments.
